Voter ID: What Do I Need to Vote?

Voters will be required to show a state-issued photo ID in order to vote. The address on the ID does not have to match; the ID must have not expired more than 60 days before the election. Here is a list of allowed identification:

Texas Driver’s License or ID card issued by DPS
Texas concealed handgun license issued by DPS
US military ID card with photo
      US citizenship certificate with photo
      US passport
Election ID certificate issued by DPS

Voters whose names on their registration and photo ID do not exactly match may sign an affadavit verifying their identity. It’s quick and easy, don’t let this deter you from voting!
