by Nick Hudson, Sarah Eckhardt Campaign Manager
As Sarah Eckhardt’s campaign manager in her race for Travis County Judge, I’m reminded every day that she’s the most experienced, best qualified Democrat for this important job.
Now, thanks to generous supporters like you, I know we have the financial support to compete and win the Democratic primary for Travis County Judge in March.
Yesterday, our campaign was required to report all donations from the first six months of the year. I’m excited to report that we defied expectations and ended up tied with our opponent in campaign cash on hand!
After 14 years in public service, Sarah knows how to be an efficient steward of our tax dollars. Her campaign for County Judge is no different when it comes to spending your contributions. As her campaign manager, I’m committed to running an efficient, effective operation that focuses the majority of our resources on direct voter contact.
You know what else is exciting? More than half of Sarah’s fundraising total came in the last 30 days of the reporting period, after she stepped down from the Commissioner’s Court. There is clear enthusiasm for Sarah’s candidacy across our community. Of course, our fundraising efforts won’t stop here. We still have a long way to go and a lot of doors to knock between now and March 4th.
We know that Sarah is clearly the best candidate in this race. She has the experience, courage, and heart to put our community values into practice as County Judge — something she’s already been doing in her 14 years in Travis County government.
To those who have already donated and volunteered, thank you for your continued support.
Let’s win this thing.
